BAMAH is an independent non-profit arts platform providing opportunities for Israeli artists to develop and teach their work; promote creative innovation, mutual respect and understanding; and inspire a more inclusive, respectful, and tolerant society.
We work with Israeli artists of all disciplines and of all religions, ethnicities, races, gender identities and expressions, physical and mental abilities, political persuasions, and national identities. We raise our annual budget from private individuals and foundations, without government support.
We believe Israel is a hub of creative inspiration for people of all identities and backgrounds.
We believe artists are the vanguard of new ideas and movements, and that cultural exchange creates meaningful, transformative encounters that increase tolerance, connection, and understanding between people.
We believe in freedom of speech and artistic expression.
Lin-Manuel Miranda
